This was my second time at LZO for a consult (I did one before baby was born). this time I came to keen to learn how to back carry and to try out a few different carriers. Allie is so knowledgeable and really knows her stuff. She had me try the carry with a weighted baby first as my guy was asleep and then we popped him in when he woke. I left feeling ready to carry my guy on my back. I highly recommend going to see her even if it is just to learn a new carry. I left with a new gorgeous wrap and a whole lot of confidence and knowledge about different wrap types. Highly recommend her and her shop!
I loved meeting with Allie and having her teach me one on one how to make the most of my beautiful new wrap!
I very much enjoyed my consultation with Allie! I was having a few issues with back carries and needed assistance working out the bugs. Allie very quickly diagnosed what I needed to adjust. Within a week of practicing with those adjustments my back carries were already going much smoother and my baby had stopped fighting being wrapped to my back. Overall money and time well spent!
My LZO Babywearing Consultation gave me the confidence to enjoy the many hundreds of dollars worth of carriers that I had been gifted but was unsure of how to use safely and properly.
It’s easy for me to watch the YouTube videos or post pictures for feedback and say - I learned how to do this, but I wanted to get it right from the get go. Allie helped me learn new carries with short wraps as well as how to use a ring sling. She helped me figure out my structured carrier as well so that I carried baby right for the rest of the day! There just wasn’t enough time to learn it all! The shop is lovely and calm, a great place filled with joy and colour and everything you could possibly need for babywearing. I look forward to visiting again soon!
Love my carrier!
Previous SSC and ring sling user with our first; this was my first wrap product (other than failed attempts with a moby wrap). This carrier has been comfy from day one with our 3-5 week old. Much more adjustable/customizable fit than anything we previously owned. Colour is a bit more denim than expected from photo but it’s a great neutral shade. This is definitely my go-to carrier.
I bought this carrier as a gift for my dear friend who is expecting. She picked it out herself, though I likely would have picked it for her too because it is easy to use for those new to babywearing. Lovely construction, colour, and customer service!!
What happens when your favorite wrap (lisca) and your favorite carrier have a passionate affair and produce perfection?
It’s soft, it holds, color is perfect, comfort goes beyond words.
This is my favorite carrier by far.
If you are just going to get one carrier, This.Is.It.
Beautiful and easy to care for. Washed it right out of the box and it’s softer than I expected for its weight. Finally went for a good, comfortable and long walk.
I am a fan of wrapping my babies when they are brand new and then usually move to buckles as they get older. This carrier is a nice blend of the two- quicker but still cozy and more comfortable than full buckles in my opinion. Adjustability is nice too!
The Integra Carrier is amazing for the warmer weather. It’s so lightweight and easy to put on. Stores nicely in a diaper bag as it folds up small. Highly recommend it! Using it for traveling at the moment and it’s made life much easier with our six month old. The only thing I wish is it had a little travel pouch to pack it in or a pocket to fold itself into. Great purchase overall.
I love my wraps. They are beautiful. Allie does such a great job of describing and walking through the details, selection and care for wraps (and all her products) and babywearing to help make the perfect selection for me. Her website is so helpful, as was her caring and prompt responses to my inquiries. I love the philosophy, the shop that has heart and soul. Shopping was easy and fun and informative.
The wraps came fast and were beautiful and as described.
Allie kindly and promptly accommodated a change in my order prior to sending.
I have bookmarked Little Zen One, and will have this shop and Allie as my first pick for my, and my newborn twins, needs now and into the future.
Thank you, again, Allie.
We were already big fans of Tula carriers, having been gifted a Free to Grow, which we've used pretty much every day since our LO was about 6 weeks old. We bought the Explore due to the addition of a front-facing option, which the FTG doesn't, as our LO is growing and fascinated by the outside world, having her in front-facing eliminates a lot of neck-straining on her part, as she is not big enough yet for back carry. Our verdict: it's awesome! The front-facing option works well, as well as the facing in option for naps; the print and fabric are gorgeous, and the biggest, most pleasant surprise was how COMFORTABLE it is. The added padding on the shoulders makes a big difference when I'm carrying LO for hours, and the fit seems somehow more ergonomic in terms of the weight distribution of the baby. I can carry her for much longer with no pain, which is a big plus in my eyes. It's almost eclipsed the FTG, except for long naps - the FTG has wider sides, which allows LO to keep her hands tucked inside, which seems soothing to her. The Explore has shallower sides due to the cut-away needed for front-facing carry. Nevertheless, it's a total delight.
I enjoy this sling as it is easy to put on while home alone with the little one and the head rest/hood portion is amazing. Looking forward to using this item in the warmer weather outside...for now it is great to use indoors.
I purchased this very close to Christmas and the staff were efficient and prompt in shipping this so it arrived asap. The DidyKlick is a wonderful carrier and is on par with a lot of custom carriers I've seen before Didy started to make this model. Great fabric, lovely colour and customized fit make this a great carrier for beginner to advanced babywearers!
This is the sleekest buckle carrier - it’s perfect for travel or anyone who wants something that doesn’t take up a lot of space.
I absolutely love my Dydimos DidyKlick carrier, it is super easy to put on (after Allie showed me how), it is light, comfortable and I get compliments every single time I wear it. The little hat is the bets as well, it stays on and my baby can wear it while she is in the carrier.
