Augmenta Lunae Lineate 1m Fabric Piece by Oscha

This magical lunar pattern is woven with the special quilted weave technique which is unique to Oscha. This is woven in a similar way to a pocket weave, with little pockets created between two layers of fabric. The quilted weave technique incorporates chunky quilting yarns which run throughout the fabric adding an even richer cush. 

This is one of our 'ultra eco-fabrics'. We use up a variety of small batches of leftover yarns that would otherwise be thrown away and instead make something unique and beautiful. Tencel is also a great eco-friendly yarn which is made from wood pulp using a closed loop system. It is softer and stronger than most cottons and uses much less water and land. 

This one-of-a-kind quilted weave fabric is a gorgeous mix of blue and cool shades. These contrast with a layer of solid rich gold to pick out the astrological Augmenta Lunae pattern. The phases of the moon and scattered stars are striking and pop against the blue hues, while the symbols for the planets run along the star-filled borders.
