I wasn’t sure what type of carrier I wanted for my little one, but within ten minutes of bundling him into this one, he was deep asleep! I really love the feel of the fabric (soft but toothy enough to tie securely without any slipping) and how easy it is to just clip on the belt and tug it snugly for my baby.
I came VERY close to buying this but chose not to because I wanted to find a carrier with a longer sun shade to cover bub’s face during daytime naps.
I love this wrap so much. The color is the absolutely most perfect shade of green. It’s strong and light and airy. Holds a big toddler well and would be ideal with a little squish. Grateful to have been able to get one through TBYB and it was already a little broken in. Our new favorite wrap.
This just arrived and it is stunning out of the box. Definitely has the hemp crunch so it went straight into the wash and I can't wait to give it a try tomorrow. I can already tell I love the weight and feel of the fabric though .... everything i was hoping for!!
Such a gorgeous sling! We tried this one through the TBYB program and it was such a nice sling for a beginner like me! I previously tried the LL Dinos sling when my first babe was still quite young and while cushy and soft, it was so hard to adjust and I swore off ring slings for quite awhile. When I received Forest prima it was like slings FINALLY clicked for me! It was easy to adjust and thin but still supportive. The colourway just wasn't for us but ill be adding a prima to our collection soon enough!
This wrap was so perfect for me as a beginner wrapper! My first time with a wrap was over 2 years ago when I had no idea what I was doing and it did not go well.
I finally gave wrapping another try with shades of blue and now I LOVE wrapping. Its the perfect amount of glidey yet grippy for easy tightening and adjusting!
It makes a great supportive toddler wrap but was also perfect for my 3 month old squish. We tried this wrap through LZO's TBYB program and if not for it havjng so much white, I absolutely would have kept it!
For both me and baby. The straps were quite long, perfect if fancy finishes are your thing. It’s also relatively compact for a half buckle, which is good for storage.
Was a great TBYB introduction to the glowing fabrics of Oscha, in a full buckle format I can manage. I enjoyed the versatility to use either the chest strap or cross strap formation in the back. The arm straps were cushy, and I liked having an attached hood. Overall was a comfortable full buckle wear with an extra amount of colour razzle dazzle that made babywearing that much more fun - definitely worth a try!
Loved trying out this carrier - both my husband and I enjoyed the carrier with its neutral colour, while baby enjoyed the very cushy seat. Having the darker threads also would have helped me feel more comfortable about hiding messes with a warm tan in contrast to lighter colours like track. Love the adjustment options on the LennyLights!
Hosted this in a size 6 for TBYB. First of all, it’s super cute! I’m used to the more rigid, geometric Didy weaves (Ada, Prima, 1975 etc), and they are amazing, but I love how whimsical this wrap looks in comparison. It feels more like an Oscha to me in terms of wrap qualities- soft, a little soapy, slightly more glide than grip, moderate cushiness- but still has that signature Didy diagonal stretch that I love. This colorway is a bit too beige for me, which is why I ended up sending it on, but I may circle back to it one day.
I hosted this carrier through TBYB and was so excited to try it! My toddler seemed very comfortable and content in it, but unfortunately I wasn’t able to get a comfortable fit for myself (even with a fit check)- the straps felt too wide on my shoulders and dug into my armpits, and as much as I love the minimalist aesthetic of this carrier, I found myself wishing it had PFAs to remove some of the slack between baby and me. So, we sent it on to the next host. I’m still glad I finally got to try it, especially without committing to a purchase- thanks, LZO!
First time trying a didyfix, and it definitely didn't disappoint! This was the perfect size for my 2 year old, and probably could fit a younger little one cinched down, and still had plenty of room to grow. Convenient two way pull straps and the extra padding under the arms was lovely. It was even comfortable around my 30 week baby bump. Though we didn't keep this one, it was a great intro to the didyfix!
This wrap is absolutely stunning and was pretty soft for being a linen and cotton blend right out of the bag. The item also arrived super quickly! I’ll be purchasing more from LZO!
This was one of the very first woven wraps I have ever tried and I loved it so much I couldn't let it go. Its soft and blankety, a beautiful neutral pink, and it doesnt feel diggy at all. Its also supportive enough to be able to tandem wrap my twins comfortably! As an easy care, all cotton wrap, this is an affordable and lovely wrap.
This was our first try with a woven wrap. It was so soft and squishy, and I was sad to let it go. We may find our way back to it after trying a few others.
At first when I put this one on, I didn’t think it was very comfortable, but we readjusted and gave it a few minutes and it is super comfy once you get the right fit. It’s a very compact carrier if you want something to keep in a bag or the car.
This was my first try before you buy and it did not disappoint! We loved the pattern and found it snuggly and comfortable. I wanted to test out some other carriers as well so I sent it on but we may end up going back to it!
This carrier is so amazing! Its soft, strong, and easy to use once you find the right adjustments that work for you. It does feel a little bulky but I can still leave it tied around my waist when not in use.
I am obsessed with this pattern, colour and fabric! It’s so cushy and cozy. I do find it a harder ringsling to unthread when taking off comparing to a full cotton oscha ringsling that I am using. But I am assuming it gets easier as this sling gets broken in! It is very grippy.
Still smitten with it, 🥰🩶
My apron was delivered just in time to make dinner! Full coverage, easy on and off, and super cute, can't go wrong with this apron!
Girasol mysol
Our newest #tbyb is this beautiful girasol mysol. And honestly? I have a love hate relationship with it. 🫣
Pros: it's STUNNING. The fabric is lush and squishy IMO and it is definitely padded. I love the waist buckle is adjustable on both sides and not just one so the buckle isn't lopsided to the side. I love the adjustable seat cinch. Made it super easy to adjust to my baby.
Cons: I dont like the padded straps. 🫣 there. I said it. It is a great amount of padding and it DOES allow a better distribution of weight so I see that being great for some but I personally dont like the combo of padded straps/wrap. I wish it would pick one. 🫠
At the end of the day, I can definitely see why some like it, it's beautiful, it holds the sleepy dust, and I can see this being a great beginner friendly way to move from SSC to wovens/mei tai. This was a fantastic opportunity but it will definitely be sent on it's way for someone else to love on.
Lennylight
We got our hands on this GORGEOUS LennyLight in Wild Wine Bouquet I LOVE this color (have it in a woven) but dont think we will keep it.
Personally, I love didymos better for SSC 🫣🫣
Pros: Fantastically padded straps and waist belt. My husband LOVED it for this so I think we will get him a lenny for his personal carrier. But in a different colorway cause he said no yo matching my wrap lol. I have a love hate relationship with the buckles. I find them insanely accessible for those who might have issues with connective tissues, arthritis, etc. The waist buckle is just one button. And it releases very easy. Same with the chest clip. It just sits on top and is magnetic.
Cons: those super easy buckles make me scared. 🫣 I just can't get past it. It is safe. It is secure, but it terrifies me. So for me that is an instant pass.
We bought it and it is my husband's main carrier. He knows he looks flashy in his purple. 🫶🏻
Oscha Bairn Realm of Middle Earth for the win!
This beauty didnt even make it fully out of the package before my husband screamed, "ITS OURS! HAVE THEM SEND THE INVOICE NOW!" 🥴🤣
He has also laid claim that this is his carrier. Not mine 🤣 so now he has two. He has gotten into babywearing so much and I love it.
Pros: it is INSANELY lightweight for a buckle carrier. So much so that i barely notice while wearing it. It is buttery soft and just the right amount of padding in the straps so it isn't stiff. It does dual directional cinching. Which in my opinion allows for a better, snug fit. It can do H back or X back. We prefer H back in this house but the ability to do both is nice.
Cons: the waist belt is not padded. So if you dont like that, this isn't the carrier for you. They took off the extra padding causing it to be lighter. A pro and a con in and of itself.
It ended up being a massive win and was instantly bought same day. 🫶🏻
I tried out the Zephyr DidyFix by Didymos through TBYB, and wow, is she gorgeous! The fabric is intricate and oh so stunning. Unfortunately she came right during the holidays and my husband starting a new job so I didn’t really get a chance to test her out - just threw her on briefly a couple of times but not enough to form an opinion.
#TBYB this carrier. I wanted this to be the half buckle of my dreams, and it was so floppy and moldable, but a little tall for my 32” and I couldn’t get comfy rolling/folding the waistband down. Generally I’m not a waistband gal so I guess I’m not surprised.
This is definitely my TBYB that got away - I can't stop thinking about it and I know I need to add a Trias to my collection now. It is such an amazingly luxurious, cushy, floppy, squishy dream. Either a ring sling or a shorty Trias will be joining our household soon!
