I was not expecting to like this carrier as much as I do. The padded shoulder is great for me and my little guy seems to enjoy the ride, falling asleep much of the time. Iβm excited to try carrying him on my back as his neck strength increases! And I love that it will grow with him because of the double channel at the bottom.
This one surprised me in the best way. After just one wash it softened up quickly and now has that perfect balance β soft and a little floppy, but still supportive for my heavier babe.
Itβs easy to work with, tightens smoothly, and has just enough grip without feeling grabby.
And the color! I expected pink, but it actually reads more like a muted burgundy/red in person β much warmer and more versatile than I thought.
Definitely one I keep reaching for lately.
Baby and I have the audiobooks on repeat in our lives, and this wrap is just stunning. It shimmers slightly in the sun, and is a good base size for us. Iβm excited to see how it wears over the years.
Longevity - used with my newborn and toddler.
Aesthetic- diamond weave and dark yet vibrant colors are both striking.
Quality - strong, soft, will last for many years.
We had this for a TBYB and loved it! It feels like a soft flannel t-shirt but is actually very lightweight and breathable. Very supportive and easy to learn with due to the gradient.
I tried this because they were looking for TBYB hosts, and I was curious how my 13 month old twins would fit in toddler carriers now. Theyβre not quite there yet π. We could make it work, but I still get a better fit in my infant carriers (for reference theyβre wearing 12 month pants and weigh 17.75 & 19.5 lbs).
The carrier itself is lovely. The fabric is soft & floppy, and this is the only half buckle with padded straps Iβve ever liked. The only downside is that I have the waistband cinched down almost all the way so I end up with a ton of extra fabric there.
Margie is a toddler levitator! She is taking some work to break in, but weβre getting there. This is base-3ish for us and will be the perfect summer shortie- lightweight, breathable, and strong AF!
We hosted this wrap for TBYB in a size 7. My toddler loved it! I found it comfortable and snuggly but a bit difficult to tighten as itβs a little on the soapy/slippery side. We already have a Cairis in Rei Alta which we adore, so we sent this on, but one day Iβd love to try it as a shortie or a ring sling!
I had the pleasure of hosting this Girasol Mysol carrier through LZO' "try before you buy" program. This was my first time trying a half-buckle carrier, and I am so sad I didn't discover this amazing carrier with my first born!
This carrier is made of gorgeous, soft fabric. It felt supportive, and I had no back pain even when wearing for long periods of time! My 4 month old was very happy in this carrier :)
The padded straps were great, and I enjoyed the length.
Lastly - I love the longevity of this carrier - the second tunnel allows this pack to "grow" with your baby :)
I absolutely love Little Zen One's TBYB program! It's so helpful to try a carrier and see if it works for your body and life.
I love the design, color and sparkles. The inside of the pads is super soft. My only issue is that I wish the snaps on the drool pads were metal, the black plastic feels a bit cheap and takes away from the overall look and feel.
My 4 year old is absolutely obsessed. The fabric is soft and high quality, with amazing, subtle sparkles running thru it. The only think I wish it had was a way to get excess strap webbing out of the way. This will last for years and will likely be a keepsake some day.
Finding and buying the right carrier is a big investment in time and money, LZO makes that so much easier with the TBYB program. I donβt have a local babywearing group or lending library so I was super excited when I found out about this company and the try before you buy program. So grateful this exists so I could try and compare multiple carriers before diving in blind. Canβt say enough great things.
Fabric is just gorgeous. Soft, supportive and a beautiful pattern. Shoulder straps are well cushioned and fit well. Takes a little bit of practice to get baby comfortably high on back but once you figure it out itβs quick and easy!
My first try at an onbuhimo. This fabric is so beautiful. I really loved it, but want to trial other brands of onbuhimos before committing to one.
The most confortable baby carrier I tried! Even my husband likes it!
TBYB Win. I wasnβt planning to keep thisβ¦ the waitlist was short and I was thinking on a toddler-worthy wrap, maybe in a base-1β¦ but here this fell into my lap. Itβs gorgeous blue and white, airy, thin, and has a gentle soft stretch to it that feels like a hug. Iβve only tried a few back carries with my 27lb 20mo old, but he feels supported more than I expected. GSM and weave type (jacquard) DO NOT represent wrap qualities, as I am learning. My other wraps are also fairly thin-medium GSM and either 100% cotton or cotton/linen and all feel so different. This somehow has grip and glide but lets you know when slack emerges, and is fairly easy to readjust. The blue matches our eyes and is a nice contrast to my Didymos Mosaic jewel tonesβ¦ it may be the new favorite!
The colors on this one are beautiful, but it was too textured and grippy for me. I think it would work great for a toddler. I also tried a brand new one so it wasn't broken in at all, which might make a difference.
The only reason this wasn't a win for us is the material is very heavy. Definitely too hot for my preschooler and husband (who both run hot anyway!). But this was supportive and cozy, my preschooler loved getting to be in a carrier like her little sister!
After trying a few half buckles through TBYB, I ended up purchasing the Oscha Cairis in Matrix Aura, and itβs truly love.
The fabric and colors are absolutely gorgeous. The weave feels vibrant and special, yet still versatile enough to pair with almost everything in my wardrobe. Compared to the Rei Harbour Cairis I tried through TBYB, the Matrix Aura is noticeably thicker and sturdier, which gives it a really supportive, secure feel.
It also has serious sleepy dust β my baby has fallen asleep every single time Iβve worn it, which says so much about how comfortable and cozy it is. I can especially see this carrier shining in cooler weather, as the fabric has a plush, comforting feel that would be perfect for fall and winter.
That said, I do notice it runs a bit warm. I brought it on a trip to Bal Harbour / Miami and wore it for a walk on the beach, and we were both definitely a little hot by the end. Itβs not a dealbreaker for me, but something to keep in mind if youβre in a warmer climate.
Overall, I love this carrier so much. It feels beautiful, supportive, and special β and wearing my baby in it genuinely makes me so happy.
This carrier really shines for my 2.5-3 month old baby. It is so soft and she sinks right into it. The hood is perfect to shield her head from the wind/bright sun and light rain when we are outside hiking/strolling. I have a 1.5 year old that I will push in the stroller and will use this carrier for 3 month old when going to medical alts and therapies. She falls right asleep in it. I have used other carriers where the panel is still just too high and the panel of this is shorter right at her neck so I know she is breathing and getting adequate airflow. Itβs been perfect! I have really enjoyed using this carrier.
I finally got my hands on a size 6 Girasol woven wrap from Little Zen One and Iβm honestly so happy with it. Itβs been making all my woven wrap dreams come true π€
Iβve been babywearing for years with a structured Tula half wrap conversion (Girasol 25), so having a full wrap feels like such a fun upgrade. I picked up the basics quickly and have already comfortably worn both my 9-month-old and my 2.5-year-old.
Itβs supportive, beautiful, and just makes me love wrapping even more. Absolutely loving it!
This carrier was soft and easy to use right out of the bag! I love that it can be worn apron or waterfall style interchangeably. I also find it easier to adjust and get a snug fit compared to my full buckle carrier. The waistband can be a bit loose for small waists but it can be cinched tighter by wrapping it back around to the front and tying it under babyβs bum (in a front carry).
These colors are beyond beautiful. If it wasnt for the bad timing we would have bought this. The colors are so dark and deep. Just gorgeous. The fabric is lightweight and thin for those super hot or humid days but so supportive.
