Welcome to Little Zen One’s FREE Try Before You Buy (TBYB) Program. This page has everything you need to get started, understand how it works, and find the perfect carrier for you.

The Try Before You Buy (TBYB) Program is a free service from Little Zen One. You can try up to 5 different baby carriers, each for 7 full days, before deciding whether to buy. No pressure, no cost — just a better fit for you and your little one.
Step 1: Sign Up
Join the Little Zen One Chatter Facebook Group and complete the TBYB Sign-Up Form.
Step 2: Get Tagged
Each week, we post a #TBYB-Time list in the group. Watch for your name and join the Messenger Group Chat when tagged.
Step 3: Host Orders
In the chat, you’ll be matched to a Host Order (a group trying the same carrier). Follow the pinned instructions.
Step 4: Try the Carrier
Try it for 7 full days. If you love it, message us for 15% off. If not, ship it to the next participant.
Step 5: Keep Trying
You can try 5 carriers for free. After a $125+ purchase, you unlock 5 more trials!
Why do some carriers appear on the waitlist or website but not on the TBYB sign-up form?
If a carrier has a long wait, low stock, or is being phased out temporarily, it may stay visible elsewhere but not on the form. This is not an error — it's part of how we manage availability.

After your 7-day trial, ship the carrier to the next participant:
- USA shipping: usually $9–$16 USD
- Canada shipping: usually $13–$22 CAD
- Reuse the original packaging when possible
- Use PirateShip (USA) or Chit Chats/Stallion (Canada) for cheaper rates
Please do not wash carriers without checking with us first. Spot cleaning is fine. Full wash instructions are available if needed (for all-cotton carriers).
Sharing photos in the group is optional, but each post counts as an entry into our $40 monthly gift card giveaway!
No pet restrictions. Avoid smoke exposure. Washing before trying is not required — carriers are safe to use between homes.
If you are the first host, you receive 10% off and free shipping. Later hosts get 15% off. Want a different item? Return the carrier and we will send a 10% coupon toward your next order.
Each participant can try 5 carriers for free. After spending $125+, you unlock 5 additional trials.
