After trying a few half buckles through TBYB, I ended up purchasing the Oscha Cairis in Matrix Aura, and it’s truly love.

The fabric and colors are absolutely gorgeous. The weave feels vibrant and special, yet still versatile enough to pair with almost everything in my wardrobe. Compared to the Rei Harbour Cairis I tried through TBYB, the Matrix Aura is noticeably thicker and sturdier, which gives it a really supportive, secure feel.

It also has serious sleepy dust — my baby has fallen asleep every single time I’ve worn it, which says so much about how comfortable and cozy it is. I can especially see this carrier shining in cooler weather, as the fabric has a plush, comforting feel that would be perfect for fall and winter.

That said, I do notice it runs a bit warm. I brought it on a trip to Bal Harbour / Miami and wore it for a walk on the beach, and we were both definitely a little hot by the end. It’s not a dealbreaker for me, but something to keep in mind if you’re in a warmer climate.

Overall, I love this carrier so much. It feels beautiful, supportive, and special — and wearing my baby in it genuinely makes me so happy.

Sooo soft and easy to use.

Almost a tbyb win! Loved the feeling and look of the wrap straps, felt like it was very supportive without being heavy or warm. I’m always between sizes, wearing a 16/18US women’s, so I did find the standard size slightly too small. The waistband was a perfect fit, but the wrap straps were each about 1-2 inches shorter than what I would need to feel confident with chest support. Considering the XL cairis, but unsure if it would feel like too much material for the waist and wrap straps. Might just wait to try a toddler cairis in a few months to see if that’s a better fit for me and baby.

We hosted this through the TBYB program. It is such a great combination of form and function in a carrier - beautiful and incredibly comfortable. It has the support and moulding qualities of a woven wrap but the ease of mind of a SSC (no seat popping to worry about!). The colourway wasn't for us but is perfect for those looking for something vibrant. Oscha makes truly amazing stuff.

A carrier the whole family will love! We signed up for this Cairis as a TBYB and didn’t expect that we would add it to our collection, we thought it was going to be intimidating and difficult… but we are truly in love with this carrier! My husband has not wanted to learn to wrap, but he really REALLY likes this option, and is definitely on board with the comfort, support, and versatility of wraps!
The Matrix weave is so soft and comfy, maintains a great wearing temperature, the Aura colorway is simply glorious and gorgeous, and the structure of the carrier is so supportive, we love being able to wear this in multiple ways and create layers of support or temperature wherever we need it!
